A magical sporting moment

I am very proud because of the huge effort I have made to be here now. The training I had to do was hard but getting what you want makes you think that it worth was it. I can say that winning a basketball medal has changed my life. At first, the match was a little bit relaxing but when the opponents scored points in the first ten minutes my team and I started to play seriously.

The match was harder than ever and all the members of the team kept on giving the best of themselves. I was very tired and I had missed some balls. Then, my coach asked me to leave the match for some minutes. Everybody was anxious and expecting a miracle because we were losing by eleven points.

As soon as I was on the game again I felt like I could do anything. My legs were running without control and my head was concentrated on the ball. Afterwards, thanks to my team we got points and when the bell rang we knew that we had won the match. At that moment, the crowd cheered us with energy.

It was a magic moment that I will not forget.
