A magical sporting moment.

On 1992 Barcelona celebrated its Olympic Games. People from all over the world came to watch them and take part in them. I wasn’t born yet, but I’ve heard a lot of them and I know that they were very important for the City of Barcelona.

Athletes from 169 countries played a lot of sports and people from Barcelona were very excited about the Games. There was a party every day in the streets of the city.

Spain won 13 golden medals, but the Union Team, which was formed by some countries of the ex-URSS, won 45 golden medals.
At the end of the games Cobi, the Olympic mascot of the games, flied away on a paper boat and Barcelona’s Olympic Games were told the best Olympic Games of the history.
